DAVID DUCHOVNY - X-FILES RETURNS FOR MOVIE SEQUEL

TV sci-fi hit THE X-FILES is returning to the big screen, for a sequel to 1998 film THE X FILES MOVIE.

DAVID DUCHOVNY and GILLIAN ANDERSON will reprise their roles as FBI agents FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY in the film, which will hit cinemas in 2006 - eight years after the first movie, and 13 years after the show first aired on TV.

Duchovny says, "It will happen. I think It would be fun to go back into it and do it."
