American actors DAVID DUCHOVNY and GILLIAN ANDERSON have agreed to star in a movie version of the cult sci-fi series The X Files.
The hit TV series, which featured agents MULDER and SCULLY investigating alien-related incidents, ran from 1993 to 2002 and attracting a massive international following.
Duchovny enthuses, "We are both keen to do it, Gillian and I. It's just a matter of getting everyone in the same spot. I think we'll shoot it next winter."
