ER - WYLE QUITS ER

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

ER heart-throb NOAH WYLE is quitting the American medical drama after ten years.

Wyle, who plays DOCTOR JOHN CARTER and has outlasted actors GEORGE CLOONEY and JULIANNA MARGUILES since the show's birth in 1994, plans to spend more time with his wife TRACY and son OWEN.

He says, "I've got family and friends who said goodbye to me 12 years ago and are wondering when I'm coming back."

The actor is keen to make way for a younger generation of actors, including BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM star PARMINDER NAGRA who joined the show in 2003 to play NEELA RASGOTRA.

He adds, "Names like Parminder are a thing of the future."
