ROLLING STONES - WOOD: 'SOBRIETY IS DULL'

ROLLING STONES guitarist RONNIE WOOD is struggling to kick his alcohol habit, because he finds life without booze is "boring".
The veteran rocker is determined to beat his longterm addiction - but admits he still has difficulty being around alcohol without craving a return to wilder days.
And he thanks his bandmembers for their unstinting support.
He says, "Without alcohol it's a bit boring. MICK (JAGGER) and CHARLIE (WATTS) are very supportive. KEITH (RICHARDS) had a barbeque last night at his place and there was beer, wine and vodka, so I only stayed a little while.
"It's a 40-year habit. It's hard to change the ways of a lifetime. It's the Stones - it's hard to kick the party aspect."
