Movie golden girl REESE WITHERSPOON will star in the remake of 1965 classic BUNNY LAKE IS MISSING, which previously starred SIR LAURENCE OLIVIER and SIR NOEL COWARD.

In the OTTO PREMINGER-directed original, a young girl, Bunny, is reported missing by her mother - but when police find no trace of Bunny ever having existed, they start to question the mother's mental state.

It will be produced by Witherspoon's own TYPE A FILMS production company.
