GREG WISE - WISE BERATES THE UK AVAILABILITY OF HIS MOVIES

Actor GREG WISE is amazed audiences in his native Britain still know who he is - because his most recent films haven't been released in the UK.

Wise, who is married to EMMA THOMPSON, has seen several movies, including 2001's THE DISCOVERY OF HEAVEN, not receive distribution in his homeland.

The JOHNNY ENGLISH star says, "The last three films I've acted in haven't been shown here (the UK).

"I must have the kiss of death because other movies were cancelled before I'd even started working on them.

"However, there is a plus side: some of them are bl**dy awful."
