KATE WINSLET - WINSLET LET IT'S ALL HANG OUT IN NYC

OSCAR-nominated actress KATE WINSLET prefers living in New York to her native England because she can "do whatever I want" in the Big Apple.

Winslet - who gave birth to her second son JOE in America in December (03) - is becoming sick of being spied on by the intrusive British press, and is revelling in the freedom New York offers.

She explains, "In England, there's press outside the house most days. It's horrible.

"The thing I love about New York is that I can do whatever I want and look like s**t."
