Golden Globe-winner RACHEL WEISZ is thrilled she won't have to fake being an expectant mother for her next role, because she has a natural five-month bump of her own.

The CONSTANT GARDENER star, who is due to give birth to her first child in May (06), will shortly start filming 1930s drama THE LADY FROM SHANGHAI with acclaimed director WONG KAR-WAI.

She says, "It's great because the woman I play is pregnant, so I won't have to hide the bump!

"When we did The Constant Gardener I was supposed to be having a baby and I wore padding.

"For the new film I won't have to."
