NAOMI WATTS - WATTS HITS BACK AT DRUGGED DOG REPORTS

Hollywood babe NAOMI WATTS is reportedly furious about a newspaper story alleging she rushed her pet dog to hospital after he ate a bag of high-grade marijuana.

A spokeswoman for the Australian beauty - who's secured a place on Tinseltown's A-list following her turn in THE RING - insists 7-month-old BOB is in fact suffering from a neurological disorder.

According to the tabloid report, Bob was "totally listless" when Watts and hunky boyfriend HEATH LEDGER brought the pooch to the VANCOUVER ANIMAL EMERGENCY CLINIC, Canada, last month (MAY03). The actress was in the North American country filming ANYMORE with LAURA DERN.

Watt's spokeswoman ROBIN BAUM has hit out at the reports, insisting, "The dog is very sick. He may have some kind of narcolepsy. Naomi has taken him to the hospital about six times by now."
