WESTLIFE - WALSH AMAZED BY WESTLIFE'S LONGEVITY

WESTLIFE manager LOUIS WALSH is surprised the Irish boyband is still thriving, because he never expected their careers to last longer than a couple of years. The group is currently basking in the success of the second biggest album of their career, FACE TO FACE, but pop guru Walsh insists they are still hungry for fame. And he hopes a new transatlantic tour in the summer (06) will expand their fan base even further. Walsh says, "It should be all over for a boyband at this stage of their career, but Westlife are getting bigger. "They're going to be working even harder this year. They're set to record their eighth album after the tour and the aim is to break new territories like Canada where they'll be working in June."
