SCOTT WALKER - WALKER GETS HIS BEAT FROM MEAT

Pop icon SCOTT WALKER hired his percussionist to pound a side of pork for the beat sound on new track CLARA. The reclusive star had a particular sound in mind for the tune, but couldn't find it in traditional drums and percussion instruments - so he turned to his local butcher. Walker explains, "ALI, one of the best percussionists around, was punching it with his fists. He said it was the weirdest gig he'd ever done. You can hear him scream."
