Vinnie Jones' Six-Month Hollywood Party
Actor VINNIE JONES was so thrilled when he moved out to Hollywood to film GONE IN 60 SECONDS, he had 62 parties of friends travel over from his native England to share the experience.
The former soccer ace won a small role in the 2000 movie after producer JERRY BRUCKHEIMER spotted him in his acting debut LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS, and he quickly decided to share his newfound Hollywood lifestyle with his pals.
He says, "I rented a nice house in Benedict Canyon. It was just bizarre. I had 62 trips to the airport bringing my mates over. I just wanted them to be part of it.
"I wasn't really homesick, I just wanted them to see it with me. I thought if this is one big movie that I'm gonna be in, if you're gonna crash burn, do it properly with your mates round you. They might be able to pee on you to put it out or something."
