VINCE VAUGHN is convinced the press is disappointed by his 'soap opera' relationship with JENNIFER ANISTON, because they don't deem him a worthy leading man. The comedy star has watched the tabloid frenzy surrounding the couple, who have yet to admit they are dating despite being linked since shooting THE BREAK-UP together last year (05). He says, "You know they (tabloid reporters) are just doing their job. They're trying to sell magazines, so you kind of try to take it with a grain of salt. "I kind of feel like the tabloids sometimes write stuff that is true and a lot of the time they make stuff up. They're kind of like soap opera writers where you're like the story they think will sell. I feel they are very disappointed with the casting of me. "They're like, I don't know… how do we write this guy off the show?"
