British movie producer MATTHEW VAUGHN is planning to bring back the cult TV series that starred the man he grew up thinking was his father.
The LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS filmmaker, who is married to supermodel CLAUDIA SCHIFFER, is in negotiations to direct a movie version of THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E - which ran from 1964 to 1968 and starred ROBERT VAUGHN.
Vaughn grew up believing that the actor, who starred alongside DAVID McCALLUM in the spy series, was his dad - but later discovered he is really the son of minor British aristocrat GEORGE DE VERE DRUMMOND.
