NIA VARDALOS - VARDALOS EYES GREEK WEDDING SEQUEL

Actress NIA VARDALOS is eyeing a sequel to her 2002 surprise hit movie MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING.

Vardalos leaped from obscurity when she used her own experiences of growing up in a huge Greek family to write and star in the romantic comedy.

Despite the failure of the TV version of the film, MY BIG FAT GREEK LIFE, Vardalos is optimistic their is a chance for a film follow-up after positive reactions from fans.

She says, "I've understood the desire for a sequel, because I hear it all the time from my family and everyone I run into at a Starbucks."
