Australian pop star HOLLY VALANCE worries that people who knew her before she was famous will find her sexy public image a joke.

The KISS KISS beauty relocated to London after launching her pop career and is delighted that no-one in the country knew her as an aspiring performer.

She cringes, "I get really ashamed when I think of my old mates seeing my videos or hearing my songs.

"They know what I'm like and it makes me cringe. Over here it's a clean slate - you know me as Holly the performer and nothing else.

"It's not like that back Down Under."
