Pop beauty HOLLY VALANCE has dismissed reports she behaves like a diva - blaming it on jealous journalists who are jealous of her.

The KISS KISS singer admits she's often taunted by gangs of girls, and she's convinced people in the entertainment industry are similarly bitter about her success - so they print lies about her behaviour.

Holly says, "People wish they were doing your job and vent that by writing and saying nasty things.

"But the general public are always lovely - although I do get the odd group of girls in the street who think it's funny to put me down.

"I just laugh at them. If you don't rise, then it throws them and they don't know what to do. You can't let them see they're getting to you."
