HOLLY VALANCE - VALANCE: I'M BROKE

Pop star HOLLY VALANCE is refusing to panic over the diminished state of her bank balance, because most people her age are poor.

The 20-year-old singer was recently ordered to pay $240,000 (GBP150,000) to the manager she fired when her career took off, but instead of falling into a depression after being declared broke, she's decided to learn from her bad experiences and "look forward" to her future.

She says, "So I'm poor at 20, so are most 20-year-olds. I got up there before with hard work. I've survived before and I will survive this."

The sexy star has even celebrated her difficult year - which has also seen her pop fortunes dip - in suitable style.

She continues, "I drank some Champagne to all the f***-ups of this past year and to moving forward. I have learned so much this year from good and bad experiences, but I've probably learned more from the bad things.

"You can sit around and dwell on things and think, 'Woe is me,' but I have so many great things to look forward to and as long as you have your health and your family, nothing else matters."
