Pop beauty HOLLY VALANCE turned down a role in hit American TV show NIP/TUCK after producers asked her to appear in an explicit threesome scene.

The former NEIGHBOURS soap actress, who is trying to launch her acting career following poor sales of her two albums FOOTPRINTS and STATE OF MIND, was horrified when she read the script of cosmetic surgery drama.

Scriptwriters proposed Valance's character had sex with fellow Aussie star JULIAN McMAHON's surgeon character DOCTOR CHRISTIAN TROY and another man.

A friend says, "She was shocked when they wanted her to be involved in a 'roasting' session. She is now in talks about other roles."

The KISS KISS hitmaker was forced to reject the chance to star in CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION when she had difficulties getting a US work permit.
