Antipodean pop star HOLLY VALANCE is living in terror after discovering the flat below her is being used as a brothel.

The KISS KISS singer is constantly disturbed by angry punters who gather in the street outside the block in west London and has been forced to call in the police after fearing for her own safety.

Holly says, "The house always smells of washing powder because they wash the sheets downstairs. I haven't been there long but I've already called the police a few times when certain people on the street bash each other on the doorstep."

And pals say the problem is making her miss the presence of boyfriend PETER VERVERIS even more.

A source close to the singer adds, "Her fans probably think she is living the life of luxury by nothing could be further from the truth. She just doesn't feel safe, especially as she's a young woman living on her own."
