USHER - USHER'S NEXT RELEASE SPARKS CONTROVERSY

USHER has angered fans with the lyrics on his forthcoming single - which recommends men encourage their pregnant girlfriends to have abortions.

The singer's next release CONFESSIONS PART II features a rap on the remix by JOE BUDDEN, which contains the lyrics supporting abortion.

Budden raps, "Pray that she abort that, if she's talkin' bout keepin' it, one hit to the stomach, she's leakin' it."

He explains, "Everybody's heard the original Usher song and I'm just saying what guy's mind state is in that situation. That's how it can be when you are put in a powerless situation.

"When you get someone pregnant, you can make suggestions, but the bottom line is the woman has the final say so.

"In hip-hop, we talk about reality and what is the truth. I might stir up confusion, but if you don't like it, turn it off."

A spokesperson for Usher adds, "The lyrics are not Usher's and he had no part in the recording the remix."
