USHER - USHER RETURNS TO THE TOP

R+B hunk USHER's CONFESSIONS album is back at the top of the American album charts thanks to the addition of new tracks and a bonus DVD.

The album debuted at number one on the BILLBOARD chart in April (04) and spent nine weeks at the top, and has now shot up from 24 to number one thanks to the revamped re-release, which sold 336,000 copies in its first week.

The two Confessions albums combined have now sold over six million copies.

New entries from country star GEORGE STRAIT, GOOD CHARLOTTE and KORN also make it into the new top four.

Meanwhile, Strait's 50 NUMBER ONES compilation is the singer's 18th number one on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.
