USHER - USHER PROVIDES JACKIE COLLINS WITH INSPIRATION

USHER and AL GREEN provide the inspiration for author JACKIE COLLINS when she writes love scenes in her novels.

HOLLYWOOD WIVES writer Collins, the younger sister of former DYNASTY star JOAN COLLINS, is often influenced by the soul stars' when she puts pen to paper to write raunchy segments of her books.

She says, "When I am writing a regular love scene, I listen to Al Green."

But when things get a little more heavy-handed - such as orgy scenes - Collins prefers the pulsating sounds of Usher's music.

She adds, "In one of my earlier books, there was a character who danced on a pole, and she was listening to Usher. I wrote about Usher before he was as popular as he is now."
