USHER is planning an early retirement because he doesn't think he can keep up his tough workout and performance regime into his 40s.
The workaholic R+B star insists he's happy working as hard as he does right now, because he knows it will give him the chance to relax in years to come.
The 26-year-old singer says, "I don't plan on being a 30 or 40-year-old artist who continues to tour. I'll do it in my leisure.
"I do not want to be 38-years-old, sweating with my shirt off, running around stage. No abs of steel, blab of steel."
