R+B hunk USHER came close to ditching his hit track YEAH! from his album CONFESSIONS, before a last-minute change of heart.
The track, which was the first single to be unveiled from the multi-platinum album, spent weeks on the top of the charts around the world when it was released earlier this year (04).
But producer LIL' JON, who also appears on the track, admits it almost missed its moment as a hit.
He says, "The Usher song was major for me. It almost didn't make the album.
"But for home to do it and use my catchphrase 'Yeah' just helped catapult me into the ranks of top producers."
