The YOU MAKE ME WANNA singer has placed the REAL MADRID soccer star at the top of his list of fashionable men, and hopes that his keen monitoring of Beckham will help him in the style stakes.

Usher, 26, says of Beckham, "He is one of the guys I have always recognised for his unique style.

"I put him in my League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

"He has a great demeanour about him and it speaks through his clothes as well as his choice of jewellery.

"He is the smartest gentleman to me."
