Singer USHER's attempts at romance frequently fail, because he's too obsessed with his career to care about his love life.

The YEAH star, 25, admits his hectic schedule of interviews and songwriting take priority over women, and he doesn't deem it fair to date when he hasn't got the time to satisfy their demands.

He says, "I'm a hard guy to get along with in a relationship because I'm so focused on my music. My music career is like my mistress.

"I have to tell a woman, 'I can't talk to you right now, I'm in the studio,' or, 'I can't talk to you right now, I'm in an interview,' or, 'I can't talk to you right now, I'm writing lyrics.'

"It's tough on a woman, because she demands time, and rightly so."
