R+B star USHER dominated the BILLBOARD MAGAZINE MUSIC AWARDS in Las Vegas last night (08DEC04) winning 11 trophies, including Artist of the Year.
USHER's fellow R+B singer ALICIA KEYS walked off with seven Billboard awards, while hip-hop duo OUTKAST took five and rapper KANYE WEST four.
Soul legend STEVIE WONDER received a lifetime achievement award.
Of his many prizes, Usher says, "It's been about 10 years since we started, and we knew this would happen.
"We don't put out a record without a number one record, do we?"
GREEN DAY, GWEN STEFANI and NELLY were among the performers at the show at the MGM Grand.
