USHER and ALICIA KEYS are proving they have staying power at the top of the American singles chart - the pair's duet MY BOO has claimed a fifth successive week at number one.

The couple have held off SNOOP DOGG's anthem DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT for three weeks, even though the rapper's collaboration with PHARRELL WILLIAMS tops most of the other BILLBOARD charts.

DESTINY'S CHILD are also refusing to budge - their single LOSE MY BREATH remains at number three for a second week.

NELLY's duet with TIM McGRAW, OVER + OVER, is still the number four single in the nation, while JA RULE's comeback song, WONDERFUL, is a big climber at number five.
