TWISTA - TWISTA PULLS OUT OF AUSTRALIA TOUR

Rapper TWISTA has infuriated fans after pulling out of a planned tour of Australia at the last minute, without any warning.

The SLOW JAMZ hitmaker had signed up to participate in the ROC THA BLOCK TOUR in Brisbane over the weekend (26/27FEB05), but promoter PETER BOYLE learned just hours before Twista's call time on Saturday that the star hadn't even left his native US.

Boyle says, "It has been very difficult dealing with people who change their mind after committing."

Former JODECI star KC is replacing Twista, real name CARL MITCHELL, for the remaining shows.

Meanwhile, tour headliner JA RULE has made up for last year's (04) sudden departure from the Roc Tha Block Tour following a fight in an Adelaide nightclub by performing this year (05), alongside fellow rapper CHINGY.

As a result of the incident, Ja Rule never made last year's scheduled stop in Perth. But he will perform in the city this time around, as well as in Sydney and Melbourne later this week (ends04MAR05).
