SHANIA TWAIN - TWAIN NOT INTERESTED IN LIFE STORY MOVIE

SHANIA TWAIN is encouraging fans not to watch a new Canadian TV biopic about her - because it doesn't have her blessing and won't feature the full truth about her life.

The singer, who grew up in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, insists she hasn't gone out of her way not to be helpful to producers of the film project - she just doesn't like to talk about her tough childhood.

She says, "They are not going to get it right because they don't know me.

"I am not trying to hide anything, but there are things I can't discuss, a lot of what was in my childhood. That whole period was quite dark, and not everything is known."
