DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - TV STAR DENTON STILL LIVING MODESTLY

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star JAMES DENTON is prepared to pursue a different career, because he's aware each acting job may be his last.

The TV heart-throb admits his life has changed for the better since soaring to success playing hunky plumber MIKE DELFINO in the hit series - but he's not confident work on the small screen will always be readily available.

He says, "I've been on the other side of it, in shows that no one has wanted to watch. The last TV show I was in was put up against FRIENDS, SURVIVOR and THE APPRENTICE, so of course no one watched it.

"I still treat every job as if I might never get hired again."
