DONALD TRUMP - TRUMP: 'IVANA AND MARLA WERE NEVER INVITED TO WEDDING'

LATEST: DONALD TRUMP is bemused by reports his two ex-wives have snubbed his upcoming wedding to MELANIA KNAUSS - because he never invited them in the first place.

Last week (ends14JAN05), reports emerged that property tycoon Trump, who will take his third trip down the aisle on Saturday (22JAN05), had invited IVANA TRUMP and MARLA MAPLES to his Florida nuptials, only to be rebuffed by both women.

But Trump insists nothing could be further from the truth - because he'd actually prefer that they weren't there.

He says, "There's many stories that I invited my ex-wives Marla and Ivana... They said, 'Yes, he invited us, but we happened to be busy,' which I thought was very elegant. I'm sure they were waiting (for invitations).

"Who would invite an ex-wife? I've never heard of it, although I guess I'm sure it's happened. They're terrific but they weren't invited."
