Enterprising Californian designer STEVE COE has created a new line of T-shirts modelled on classic tops worn by the likes of FRANK ZAPPA, SIR MICK JAGGER and JOHN LENNON.

The Worn Free T-shirts come with tags that feature photographs of the rock icons wearing the shirts on which the designs were based.

Coe's line includes T-shirts with the 'You Are Here' logo, created by Lennon and YOKO ONO, and one featuring surf pop artist JOHN VAN HAMERSVELD's 'Crazy World Ain't It' face design, which was worn by Jagger in a famous New Musical Express (NME) photo shoot.

Coe's spokeswoman RACHEL REYNOLDS says, "The T-shirts are already becoming the thing to wear among Hollywood's trendiest stars and people are buying the shirts and keeping the tags attached, so they can show people their hero wearing the same thing."
