JOHN TRAVOLTA - TRAVOLTA: 'MY KIDS KEEP MY MARRIAGE STRONG'

Film star JOHN TRAVOLTA credits his children with forcing him and his wife KELLY PRESTON to work hard at their marriage and stay together.

The GREASE actor understands why so many Hollywood unions fall apart, but believes a couple who introduce children into the world will enjoy a lasting marriage if they share the belief that staying together is vital to their kids' happiness and development.

He says, "Having kids gives you a mandate to make your marriage work.

"Kelly and I strive really hard at it, and the kids are a big motivating factor. We maker them more important than us, so it's like we have a purpose to make the marriage work in order to keep them happy. It seems to work so far."
