JOHN TRAVOLTA - TRAVOLTA AND CRUISE TURN OUT FOR SCIENTOLOGY BASH

JOHN TRAVOLTA and TOM CRUISE were guests of honour at the Church of Scientology's annual gala in England this weekend (30-31OCT05).

The pair were joined by partners KELLY PRESTON, KATIE HOLMES and Scientologist singer ISAAC HAYES for the bash at the organisation's world headquarters, Saint Hill Manor in East Grinstead, East Sussex.

Cruise was given a standing ovation on Saturday night (30OCT05) after it was revealed he had donated a total of $3.6 million (GBP2 million) to the International Association of Scientologists since joining it 15 years ago.

He was presented with the Diamond Meritorious Award - and is the church's biggest ever donor.

Travolta - who arrived at the Georgian mansion flying his own private jet - was also among almost 7,000 guests from around the world, and was photographed dancing to Hayes' music with his actress wife Preston.
