DOUGIE PAYNE of Scottish rock band TRAVIS wed his longterm actress girlfriend KELLY McDONALD yesterday (26AUG03).
The couple exchanged vows at CASTLE LACHLAN in the Scottish Highlands at a down-to-earth ceremony attended by 100 guests.
TRAINSPOTTING star Kelly says, "We have had a lovely day, really wonderful."
But DRIFTWOOD rocker Dougie refused to sweep up his new bride into his arms - because it might expose his private parts.
He jokes, "My kilt might fly up and scare everyone."
