TONY RANDALL - TONY RANDALL LEAVES MILLION-DOLLAR ESTATE

Late actor TONY RANDALL has left more than $1 million (GBP555,000) to his wife and two children, according to his will, which was filed for probate in New York's SURROGATE COURT.

Randall was 84 when he died in his sleep on 17 May (04) from "complications from a prolonged illness". He left his entire estate to his wife, HEATHER, and their two children, JULIA, seven, and JEFFERSON, five.

The will, filed for probate on 8 July (04), was made public on Wednesday (14JUL04). In the document, the actor also bequeathed $50,000 (GBP27,700) each to the ACTORS' FUND and THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAYHOUSE SCHOOL OF THEATER, both in Manhattan, New York.

Randall was best known for his EMMY-winning role as FELIX UNGER in TV classic THE ODD COUPLE. He also starred in several movies with DORIS DAY and ROCK HUDSON, including PILLOW TALK, LOVER COME BACK and SEND ME NO FLOWERS.
