TOM GREEN - TOM GREEN PENS AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Comedian TOM GREEN is putting the finishing touches to a new autobiography - called HOLLYWOOD CAUSES CANCER.

The FREDDY GOT FINGERED star describes the tome as "an autobiographical fish-out-of-water story" about his journey from public access TV in his native Canada to MTV and America's entertainment mainstream.

Green is also including his battle with testicular cancer.

He says, "There was a lot of humour, even in the darkest moments."

The book will also touch on his very brief marriage to CHARLIE'S ANGELS star DREW BARRYMORE.

But Green is quick to point, "It's not something I get into in a lot of detail. It's not one of these tell-all salacious books, it's a fun book.

"I just focus on my personal experiences, including the whirlwind of getting married and divorced."
