JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - TIMBERLAKE REJECTS ELTON JOHN ROLE

Pop hunk JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has turned down the chance to play pal SIR ELTON JOHN in a new biopic.

The LIKE I LOVE YOU singer was approached by Elton's partner DAVID FURNISH, who is developing the project, after he and the YOUR SONG legend agreed Timberlake was the perfect person for the role.

But Justin, who has seen his solo career take off this year (03), is so busy with his music demands for the foreseeable future that he has no time to shoot the movie.

In 2002, the N' SYNC heart-throb starred as Elton in the veteran singer's THIS TRAIN DON'T STOP HERE ANYMORE video.
