SONIC YOUTH - THURSTON MOORE: 'I'M NOT BECK!'

SONIC YOUTH star THURSTON MOORE is growing tired of getting mistaken for BECK - because he's 11 years older than the LOSER star and much taller.

The punk icon can understand why he and Beck get confused, but wants music fans to pay closer attention when they approach him at concerts.

He says, "I still have people come up to me, like, 'I really, really liked your last record... Are you going to do Loser tonight?'

"I'm like, 'Look, I'm six foot six. Beck is five foot six, all right?'"
