THE OC - THE OC, NEILL AND OTTO WIN LOGIES

THE OC, actor SAM NEILL and LORD OF THE RINGS star MIRANDA OTTO were among the winners at Sunday's (01MAY05) annual LOGIE AWARDS, Australia's equivalent to the EMMYS.

JURASSIC PARK star Neill was given the Silver Logie Most Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series prize for JESSICA, and Otto won the Silver Logie Most Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for THROUGH MY EYES at the star-studded bash in Melbourne's Crown Casino.

The big winner on the night was chat show host ROVE McMANUS, who picked up three Logies, including the coveted Gold Logie for being the Most Popular Personality on TV.

Mini-series Jessica and teen soap HOME AND AWAY picked up two gongs respectively, while American import The OC was named Most Popular Overseas Programme.
