THE LIBERTINES singer PETE DOHERTY's drug addiction has been blamed on his Liverpool ancestry - according to THE ZUTONS frontman DAVE McCABE.
The PRESSURE POINT singer believes Doherty's battle with drugs is down to the Liverpudlian blood in him.
McCabe explains, "The thing with Scouse bands is they always have talented singers who you hear these horror stories about involving drugs.
"Pete's mum is Scouse, so he's got that Scouse fever in him when you f*** up at the wrong time."
