Revealing footage of PETE DOHERTY's former band THE LIBERTINES rocking out in their London flat is to be seen for the first time ever at the Raindance Film Festival in the British capital later this month (SEP05).
The movie short, shot by film-maker ANNE McCLOY in 2003, is not only of interest to fans of the now-defunct rockers, but it will also prove to be a valuable piece of social history as it shows the birth of the anarchic "guerilla gig".
McCloy explains, "They're playing music, a neighbour turns up, and gives them a bit of verbal and then the cops show up and clear everyone out.
"It captures how it was so last-minute: everyone showing up, having a can of beer and then stopping as quickly as they started.
"These gigs started the whole concept of the guerilla gig, so in a way it's nostalgic seeing the whole interaction."
