The Game - The Game Ousted From Convention

Rapper THE GAME claims he was ousted from a major fashion convention in Las Vegas yesterday (30AUG05), because organisers thought he was involved in the shooting of MARION 'SUGE' KNIGHT.

The Game, real name JAYCEON TAYLOR, was scheduled to showcase his upcoming sports shoe, The Hurricane, at the Magic Marketplace at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada.

But after arriving, The Game claims he was told he was no longer welcome because of the recent shooting of the rap mogul in Miami, Florida, the night before the MTV Video Music Awards.

He says, "They had a lot of state police exit us right out of the building. They were scared there was going to be some drama, but I don't know why they would be scared because I had nothing to do with (the shooting).

"It's a very embarrassing situation for myself, my management, and my whole family."

Knight was shot in the leg at a party for KANYE WEST at the Shore Club early on Sunday morning (28AUG05) and The Game insists that while he was there, he didn't even see the mogul.

The HATE IT OR LOVE IT rapper believes people are trying to link him to the shooting because both are from Los Angeles and have gang ties.
