BOB DYLAN helped pal BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN wind-up his 14-month world tour when he joined the rocker onstage at New York's SHEA STADIUM on Saturday night (04OCT03) for a rendition of HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED.
The group were also joined onstage by GARY 'U.S.' BONDS and GARLAND JEFFRIES.
A thrilled Springsteen wound up the 30-song Shea set by telling fans, "The past four or five years have been some of the most fun and exciting of my life. Thanks for sharing them with us."
Springsteen also used the show to air his thoughts about PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH, urging his fans to impeach the American leader.
He encouraged the audience to get "a little louder if you want to impeach the president", adding, "It is time to impeach the president and put in somebody that knows what they're doing."
