QUEEN - TAYLOR CONGRATULATES WILLIAMS ON LIVE 8 TRIUMPH

QUEEN drummer ROGER TAYLOR has praised ROBBIE WILLIAMS for giving the best performance of the day at the London leg of Live 8 earlier this month (JUL05).

Taylor also gave Williams the ultimate compliment, saying his showmanship would even have impressed late Queen frontman FREDDIE MERCURY.

Taylor says, "Robbie was great. Robbie was one of the few who involved the crowd and I felt there wasn't quite enough of that, but the concert itself was a great achievement."
