KILL BILL - TARANTINO GIVES DREYFUS A BLOOD BATH

KILL BILL star JULIE DREYFUS discovered director QUENTIN TARANTINO's love of gore firsthand, when he tipped a barrel of fake blood all over her.

The star meets a sticky end in the new kung-fu movie playing SOFIE FATALE - and the PULP FICTION film-maker stepped in to apply his own touches when his make-up girl proved too squeamish.

Dreyfus laughs, "The make-up artist was flicking a little on and Quentin kept asking for more until he got a little bit annoyed.

"So he lifted a five-gallon can and poured it over me. There was indelible dye in it that took days to rub off!"
