AMERICAN PIE - TARA REID'S ROMANTIC BLISS WITH COAL MAN

AMERICAN PIE star TARA REID has opted for romance as far removed from the entertainment industry as possible - by dating a coal-mining heir.

The sexy actress, who's been engaged to MTV personality CARSON DALY and romantically linked to 'N SYNC heart-throb JC CHASEZ, is now dating WAYNE BOICH - and she couldn't be happier.

Reid, who celebrated her 28th birthday on Saturday (08NOV03), coos, "He's great. He's in the coal-mining business, he lives in Ohio - totally not in the entertainment business, which is good.

"I was in Miami with my boyfriend and we had a birthday party there on Saturday night."

And while the screen beauty is proud to declare her 28-year-old beau of six weeks isn't in a glamorous industry, she's quick to point out that he doesn't actually get his hands dirty: "He doesn't work in the coal mines, but he owns the coal mines."
