The editor of Swiss tabloid BLICK has been forced to apologise to readers after printing a fake interview with MICK JAGGER.

The rocker's management alerted the paper to the fact the published chat never happened.

In a statement from Blick, an editor says, "Mick Jagger's management told us about the falsification. We apologise to our readers for the fake."

The paper added that the German journalist who fabricated the article had mysteriously disappeared and that in addition to blocking his pay and firing him, they plan to prosecute him in the near future.
